Review a case study that demonstrates the successful implementation of the AEM QA framework

Analyzing a case study can be a valuable tool for applying the knowledge gained from the previous section on stakeholder engagement and handling objections.  Examining a real-world scenario allows you to identify potential obstacles to stakeholder buy-in and develop strategies to overcome them.

Through analyzing the case study, you can also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that can be applied in your own organization. Furthermore, discussing and sharing ideas with your peers can lead to new insights and approaches you may not have considered before.

The case study you will analyze is A Southern Story: Providing Accessible Educational Materials . This paper presents a case study about the Southern Story Accessible Education project that was conducted in 2020. The project successfully implemented solutions for improving access to educational materials in multiple ways, from providing widgets and apps that allowed students to hear text read aloud to creating an online platform. The district used “The Resource Link” to facilitate communication between school system personnel and families. The results showed improved academic performance and increased student engagement with both teachers and peers. The project also created a foundation for more accessible education within the school district.

Read the Case Study and consider what measures Southern Education took to ensure quality alternative educational materials were the foundation of their quality assurance education system.
